Mr. Ernie Palms brings three decades of experience to the Dillon Gage Rare Coin Division. Mr. Palms began his career in the early 1970's in numismatics and rapidly became respected nationally as a rare coin dealer. After spending several years in rare coins, he shifted his focus to Rolex watches and other precious metals. He was co-founder of Dallas Gold and Silver Exchange and saw it develop into one of the largest gold and silver precious metals dealers in the world by 1984.
In 1985, Mr. Palms founded Dallas Watch and Jewelry Exchange where he served as president until 2003. While in this position he gained national attention after becoming one of the largest Rolex watch dealers in the country.
Mr. Palms is currently a "Life Member" of the following national trades associations: the American Numismatics Association (ANA); the Texas Numismatic Association (TNA) and the National Association of Watch and Clock Collectors (NAWCC).
